Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information TranslateVideo processes, why we process it, and how we handle uploaded files and account data when you use the service.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the public website, user accounts, subscriptions, support communications, and media-processing features offered through TranslateVideo. It covers both information you provide directly and information generated when you use the service.
2. Information We Process
We may process account information such as your email address, authentication details, billing status, subscription status, and usage records needed to operate your account.
We also process service data that you submit or generate through the platform, including uploaded audio or video files, source links, selected languages, selected processing options, task status, generated output files, and basic logs needed to run and troubleshoot processing jobs.
3. Why We Process Data
We process information to provide the service you requested, including account access, credit management, video or subtitle processing, result delivery, billing, fraud prevention, and service support.
We may also use limited technical and operational data to improve reliability, monitor abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain security.
4. File Retention and Deletion
Uploaded source files and generated task results are retained for a limited period so that jobs can be completed and users can download their outputs.
As a general rule, result files are retained for up to 24 hours and are then permanently deleted from the service. Because of this short retention window, you should download all outputs promptly after processing completes.
Automatic deletion is part of our privacy and risk-control approach. We do not keep result files indefinitely.
5. Infrastructure and Data Location
Our primary server infrastructure is located in Germany. We design our privacy handling and data-management practices with EU-oriented standards in mind.
While no online system can guarantee absolute security, we aim to use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account information and service data during transmission, storage, and processing.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with infrastructure, payment, authentication, or technical service providers only when that sharing is required to operate the service.
We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, lawful request, or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of the service and its users.
7. Your Responsibilities
You should only upload or process content that you are authorized to use. If your materials contain personal, confidential, or commercially sensitive information, you should evaluate whether the content is appropriate for cloud-based processing before submitting it.
8. Contact
If you have a privacy question, deletion request, or special case that requires manual review, please contact us using the support email address published on the site. We review privacy-related requests case by case.
